November 10, 2003 the US Marine Corps League chartered Detachment # 1146, The Kershaw County Leathernecks, located in Camden, SC. 

The Detachment is made up of former Marines from WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and Desert Storm.   The Detachment meets monthly at the American Legion Hall on West DeKalb Street in Camden, SC.  Call the Commandant or any officer for information.

One of the primary purposes of the Marine Corps League is to fit its members for the duties of citizenship and to encourage them to serve as ably as citizens as they have served the Nation under arms.
